Administrative Support serves as the welcoming first point of contact for youth, families, community members, partners, and visitors to the Youth Drop-In Center. This position provides reception, administrative, scheduling, communication, recordkeeping, and day-to-day operational support while helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming center environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome youth, visitors, volunteers, and community partners in a warm and respectful manner. Answer phones, respond to general inquiries, and direct visitors to appropriate staff or resources. Manage front-desk operations and maintain an organized reception area. Assist with youth check-in, registration, attendance, appointments, and program sign-ups. Maintain accurate records, forms, contact lists, and other administrative documentation. Schedule meetings, appointments, workshops, and other center activities. Assist with email correspondence, phone calls, reminders, and general communications. Prepare flyers, sign-in sheets, forms, packets, and other program materials. Support data entry and preparation of basic reports and participation statistics. Assist with ordering, organizing, and monitoring office and program supplies. Support staff with photocopying, scanning, filing, printing, and other administrative tasks. Help coordinate calendars and logistics for programs and events. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Follow established safety, emergency, visitor, and facility procedures. Help maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and youth-friendly environment. Provide administrative support to the Center Director and program staff as needed. Ideal Candidate Friendly, dependable, organized, and comfortable working with young people. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Comfortable with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and basic data entry. Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy drop-in environment. Professional, patient, and nonjudgmental. Able to maintain confidentiality and appropriate boundaries. Previous reception, office administration, nonprofit, school, community center, or youth-serving experience is a plus.

Youth Program Navigator serves as a trusted point of contact and support for youth ages 16–24. The Navigator helps youth identify their goals, understand available resources, participate in programs, and connect with appropriate community services. Key responsibilities include: Welcoming and engaging youth at the Youth Drop-In Center. Helping youth complete membership, sign-in, and participation forms. Learning about each youth’s goals, interests, strengths, and support needs. Connecting youth to education, employment, job readiness, training, housing, transportation, food, and community resources. Providing referrals to appropriate mental health and wellness resources when requested or needed. Helping youth participate in restorative circles, workshops, financial literacy, life-skills activities, and community events. Encouraging consistent participation in bi-weekly programs and activities. Supporting youth with goal-setting and developing positive steps toward their personal and educational goals. Following up with youth to help determine whether referrals or connections were successful. Maintaining appropriate documentation of participation, referrals, and services while respecting youth privacy and confidentiality. Helping create a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment for all youth. Working with other Youth Drop-In staff, community partners, and service providers to coordinate support. Identifying barriers that may prevent youth from accessing services and helping them navigate those barriers. In simple terms: The Youth Program Navigator helps youth figure out where they want to go and helps connect them with the people, programs, resources, and opportunities that can help them get there.
